Immersion blender magic

Another day of experimenting on cooking. Since hubby had the wisdom tooth surgery, I thought of cooking nutritious foods. But because he can't eat solid foods yet I was thinking of making a soup. The problem is he can't eat foods with spices maybe because of the swollen gums and he said it hurt. Then I remember the Arroz Caldo that I always cook everytime he's sick. But this time, it's not just chicken and rice because his day won't be complete without vegetables. I asked him about my idea and he agreed. Here are the photos of what I made.

I took some soup from this chicken stew and added to the next pot below.

These are the combination of cooked rice, potato, celery, carrots, broccoli and scallion.

I use the immersion blender to grind everything into a very fine texture.

And that's the result. Hubby now like to eat it everyday. He said that this soup is better than what he had at the restaurants. Thanks to the immersion blender. ^_^

OMG…….. how I hate being on that situation, been there done that! after a week of having soup in my stomach I got sick eating it that makes me don’t want to eat it anymore. Even now I hate Jell-O Pudding and chicken broth. It was good but I just got burnt out for eating that long!
