Just like any schools, Claira also had their Christmas Party before christmas vacation.  They had a short program where kids sang 2 christmas songs with their costumes and props. I wish we have neighbors that have kids with Claira's age but unfortunately our neighbors are retired and kids moved out or have their own family.  I'm just glad that I have friends who also have kids that can play with Claira and willing to drive 30 minutes just to spend time with us.  I hope these kids closeness will remain until they grow up even if they are not our next door neighbor.

This is a late post but thought of sharing this to everyone.  The first Filipino Priest in Alabama was visiting our place for the Fiesta of Our Lady of Penafrancia.  The Filipino Society group here attended the mass with the Filipino Priest of course then we had a procession outside after the mass while doing the rosary and then lunch.  The event was a success!

Packing for travel will now take some time knowing that we have a toddler going with us.  So I have to prepare a couple weeks before our flight, listing down the things that we need to bring so there's no disaster on our vacation. Besides, it's her first time to travel so we're not sure if she will adopt the new surrounding or scream to go home.  I just wish that Claira will be fine.

I finally harvested fresh grape tomatoes from my garden.  It's sweet and crunchy.  Claira and I like to eat this as soon as we finish washing them.  Claira even like to pick the ripe ones.  She's happy to see the red ones coz that means she can eat it. :)

Trying to eat healthy is not easy. There are times when I can't think of what to cook the healthy way or just bored of eating the same recipe over and over again. Another experiment of mine that turn out good was the kamote-cue. It's deep fried sweet potato with brown sugar and put them in the skewer. A friend of mine had her birthday 2 days after Claira's birthday. We went out to dinner with my other friends and went home to continue celebrating with Margarita and more chika. haha Happy Birthday Girl! Cheers for more birthdays, happiness and more margaritas! ^_^
