Memories of Our Christmas 2007...

Christmas is over but memories will stay in our minds forever. Last year's Christmas hubby and I only took a picture of the food we prepare for our Christmas dinner at home. We forgot to take a picture of us in the table and the opening of gifts. But this time I made it sure that we’ll have photos of every Christmas we have/had so when time comes that we already have kids or grandchildren, we can show them the pictures and tell them about it. That might be a good time to spend with family telling stories of the past. Besides, I think it’s nice to have pictures of every special occasions as a remembrance coz we can’t turn back the time. The next thing you know, you’re already old and doesn’t look good anymore when somebody take a picture of you. I want to share some of our pictures from yesterday’s Christmas. We just wear ordinary clothes coz we already went to Church lastnight. I'm sure that we're going to treasure this moment forever.

Me, opening gifts.

Our dinner after the opening of gifts.

The turkey turned out great and the stuffing I made which hubby always love was perfect. Want to know the recipe? Just ask me.

yummylicious: yeah, it was a good one.

shela: my recipe for stuffing?

1 1/2 cup celery, cut in dice
1/3 cup onion, chopped fine
4 tbsp parsley fresh leaves, chopped
2 tbsp unsalted butter
1 1/2 tsp salt (i prefer kosher)
1 1/2 tsp maggi seasoning
a dash of ground black pepper
2 whole eggs (slightly beaten)
bread crumbs (i use vigo italian style w/ imported romano cheese)

melt butter in pan, add onion, celery, parsley, salt and pepper. fry until tender but not brown. add seasoning and bread crumbs just to make the mixture a little dry. lastly, add eggs.
