New Year's First Shopping!

Gosh, I didn’t know that stores in USA are open on New Year’s Day! I wasn’t a shopaholic last year so I didn’t know that. Hehe I never expect that some business establishments here were open today so I end up having a schedule to go to work. It was too late when I requested a day off today so that’s what happened. A Pinay friend of mine also went to work so we talked about anything if we’re not busy or had a chance to chitchat a little. We talked about store sales and she mentioned that Target is now 75% off for the Christmas decorations and that they still have some stuff left. So after work I hurriedly went home and told hubby that I want to go out shopping. I went to Target first making sure that I still get any from the 75% off which is an opportunity for me who wants to save some pennies. I bought an angel which is a fiber optic, 2 big ribbons, a plastic of bows, 1 pack good for 100 gift tags, 3 gift wrapping papers and I also bought 2 cottage cheese for hubby which are not part of the sale anymore. Guess how much I paid for everything? Only $20.25! Isn’t that wonderful? Oh my, I felt like I won something knowing that I save some bucks. Hahaha It’s really a Happy New Year for me! Hope you had yours too!

Here they are:
