Agar-agar Powder



I've been looking for the agar-agar powder when I went to Philippines last year but I didn't find it.  Thank God my friend who introduced this new ingredient for fruit or buko salad brought some this year.  And she said that there's only one store in her place that sells it.  She invited me and my friends for a get together and she gave me some of her cooked agar-agar coz she made more than she needed.  I made a buko pandan and it was really delicious!  It almost taste like young coconut and cheaper than the real young coconut so it's a good alternative if you can't buy the fresh one.
