Lately I got paranoid with all the movies and talk shows about ghosts and abuse. So this past few days I am always very attentive to any sound that I hear whether it’s something that fell from somewhere, a neighbor’s door banged by their kids, a wind that sounds like somebody is playing a flute or even my shadow scares me thinking that somebody’s at home with me and it also scares me when my hair fell into my arms thinking that somebody is touching me. Sounds crazy but yes, that’s what I think and feel lately. I didn’t even go out during my day off coz I’m scared to open the door thinking that somebody is waiting for me outside and will attack me for no reason. Those are based on what I watched in the past. Now I have to face the consequences.
Then at 3:41 am today I heard something but not loud which I though it was just part of my dream. When I had a chance to move to my left side to continue sleeping, hubby asked me if I heard something and I said yes. My eyes became big and my heart beats a little faster than normal coz I thought that there’s something wrong and that I am right about the ghost or bad people. I asked hubby of what the sound means and he said that it’s the siren (meaning that we’re in tornado warning). He told me about it already and my friends also talked about it but that was the first time that I heard the siren and it keeps on making noise to maybe wake the people up. Hubby get up and said that he’ll watch the news so he would know of where the possible tornado is going and because I’m already scared, I also get up and sat beside hubby in the couch and watch the news. While watching the news, my mind was working of where to hide in case the tornado is on our way or call my friend who have a storm shelter basement and go there to hide. At 4:16 am, the news said that the possible tornado or storm is going to the North so hubby said that it’s far from where we are and we’re now safe. Whew! I was relieved knowing that we’re already safe. Thank God!
