My New Toy

Here are the photos of my new toy, the immersion blender. I wasn't really planning to get this because I already have a blender that will do the job for making something that I saw at Starbucks which I thought that I can make it myself if I have the ingredients. The Starbucks guy was making something that caught my attention and I was looking at him of how he made it. That will be for my next post. hehe But it looks yummy and refreshing. ^_^

This is what my new toy looks like.

It's good for making soup but I'll try using it for something else. hehe

Tsaraaaan! This is it! This is really is it! haha Hmm I want the white color, how come it's red? Okay, hubby said that my stuff in the kitchen are all white so he choose this one coz for him it looks interesting. Oh well, he like this one so I better use it. huhu

Shopping at Goldyn

Shopping is a woman’s weakness. I don’t know what’s in shopping but it made me feel good, relax and happy. It made me energize also as if I’m taking an energy drink that will make my eyes big if I see a Sale item. Haha I know women can relate to me because women are born to shop. Talking about shopping, there’s an online website where you can go shopping for clothes and accessories. Shopgoldyn.com is an online website that women would love to shop and check of what’s new for future purchases. This website is great for women who love getting dressed, look good and feel good while dressing the style that they like. In this website, you can shop by designer, by category, sale and look book. What I like about this website is it has a fit guide for you to read so you will know of what body type you have. This website has belts, dresses, handbags, jeans, jewelry, outerwear, pants, tees, scarves, shoes, skirts and tops. They have many different designers like by francine that designs pretty dresses and Corey Lynn Calter that designs gorgeous dresses. I love some of the Corey Lynn Calter designs coz they look nice for a formal event. They also have American Retro designer and more that you want to try. It’s really fun to shop online and I had fun even just by looking at the ones that interests me. They have what the women want to look for in the store.

I love Chinese Buffet!

I had dinner with my Pinay friends tonight and we always eat dinner at Chinese Buffet because we love sea foods. We had dinner at the new opened Chinese Buffet here which has Japanese, American and Chinese foods. You can see in the picture how I overload my plate with sea foods, a little veggies and rice. After that, I took another plate for the king crab legs. haha Then we headed to Ross store to see of what's new. After window shopping at Ross, we went to Barnes & Noble to have some coffee at Starbucks and went home before 11:00 PM. haha I'm just happy that hubby had a good time also while I was with my friends. He had his ice cream at his new friend Bruster (the ice cream store) and had a tuna sandwich for his dinner from Subway. I felt a big relief knowing that he's okay while I was with my friends. He was actually happy that I went out with the girls. Why? Because he said that he doesn't need to take me to the Chinese Buffet anymore. haha Aside from that, he told me that it's okay to go out once a week. So now I won't feel guilty anymore if I go out with my friends. Woot! Woot!

My plate overloaded with seafoods... hehe

King crab legs for my dessert. haha

Busy busy busy

I've been busy lately, need to blog hop for those who visited me and leave me a message in my cbox for I think 3 days. Whew! Wish I can finish blog hopping so I can start grabbing and accepting opps again. I prefer not to accept opps from SS and open my 3P's today and yesterday coz I know that if I do, I'll go to bed late again and I need to get up early to go to work. Huh! You might wonder why I still have an update everyday even with my busy day. I am now using the new feature of blogger which is to schedule future posts. In this way, I don't need to be in front of the computer to post and the posts I scheduled ahead will automatically post if it's at the right date and time already. Cool huh! -_^

Today I had an appointment with my Pinay co-worker to pick up the box after work. But it's Thursday and I need to go to the Asian Market after work to get hubby's fresh veggies for his lunch. I told her about it and she agreed that I'll go to the Asian Market first and they will go to the house at 5:00 PM for the pick up. I tried to finish grocery shopping as fast as I can as if I'm trying to beat the clock so I arrived home early. haha I was waiting and waiting but they didn't arrive at 5:00 PM. I was folding clothes and getting the mails while waiting for them. I watch TV for a while and then bring my laptop in the living room so I can blog hop a little bit while waiting for them. I blog hop for I think 15 minutes only and then decided to start preparing for dinner. At 6:30 PM they arrived then after 15-20 minutes, hubby arrived. Dinner was ready and after dinner is dish washing time. I said that I want more ice cream so hubby went to Target to buy some more ice cream and my new toy. Yes I got a new toy and I will talk about it next time. Hehe While hubby went to Target, I was busy cooking for his lunch also. I didn't have time to blog hop again. When he arrived I'm still not finish cooking. We watch TV while waiting for the veggies to cook and the ice cream to soften for our dessert. After I finish cooking, I clean the kitchen. I had the time to blog hop at I think past 10:00 PM already. Grrrrr Anyway, I suppose to be happy coz I got a new toy that I can play soon. ^_^

Banana-Q?

This is not really a banana-q. We call this banana-q in the Philippines if we put the banana on a stick. The first I tried making this one was I think two weeks ago where I burn my banana. haha Why? Because I was blogging and forgot that I was cooking until I smell that it's burning. Opps! So I tried making one again. It's not perfect but better than nothing. Now I know how to make it if I crave for it. It's actually good as a snack. Yumyum! ^_^

I'm guilty for taking my time...

I haven't been blog hopping for I think 2 or 3 days now because I had other things to do. I'm back to sleeping late which I want to change and tried to sleep early again. Of course, blogging took most of my time when I'm at home which made me feel guilty coz after dinner I go back to my laptop and I noticed that hubby is the one doing the dishes, washing clothes and cleaning the kitchen which is suppose to be my job as a wife. If I go out with friends, hubby was the one doing the chores which again made me feel guilty every time I come home late. I'm just so lucky to have him. And do you know what he tells me every time I go out whether I go shopping or going out with friends? He never fails to say "Have fun! Drive carefully, bye!" I enjoyed going out with friends but I also know my limits. I say "Sorry, I'm late" if I arrive home late even if I didn't say of what time I come home. I just don't want him to think that I'm abusing the freedom that he gave me. Though he always says "its okay" if I arrive home late but I still feel guilty.

Brands or products that I want to blog about

This is what I love about blogging. I can choose what products and websites that I want to blog about and now that SocialSpark.com is on business, I can even name of what advertisers I want to blog about. Actually there are lots of brands that I love which I hope wants SocialSpark’s help in advertising. When it comes to bags, the brands I like are Baby Phat, Guess, Tommy, Victoria’s Secret, New York & Company, and Kate Landry. They all look fashionable and stylish. For the shoes, I love the skechers because they have my size especially the sandals. But I also like Nike, Tommy, New Balance and for my slip proof working shoes which I really like so much is the PG Lite brand. For the clothes I like Tommy, Ralph Lauren, My Michelle, Lee, Charlotte Russe, Wet Seal, and more. Lots and lots of clothes that are pretty these days, I’m not even familiar of the names but they are gorgeous even if the brands are not so famous. The important thing is it fit me, I look good when I wear them and it last long. The car I like is of course the one I have now which is Saturn because it is user friendly. For my soft drink or soda are the Pepsi products. I just love the taste and it’s very friendly to my tummy. I also want to blog about stuff for the kitchen like Rival, Cuisinart, KitchenAid, Le Creuset, Rubbermaid, and there are more that I forgot the names. Haha What about undies? Well, I like the Calvin Klein brand and Triumph. They are nice to wear.

Rambutan

Hubby and I went to the grocery store last night and guess what I found! The Rambutan! I didn't notice it at first because there's not much in there and when I remember that it's rambutan, I asked hubby if he wants to try it. There's no price in there so I just pick the good ones. Then I saw the instruction of how to eat it which surprise me. hehe I was thinking that maybe this is new here. Then I was surprised when I saw the price. Guess how much? It's $0.69 cents each which is P29 pesos each if converted to Philippine money. Good thing I didn't took a whole lot. Beside the rambutan is the honey mango, the one that taste like the mango in the Philippines. I pick one but when I saw the price which is $1.50 each, I return it. Good if the mango is big but it's small so never mind. I can live without it for now. haha

Summer is swimming time...

It's not the real summer yet but hubby and I planned to go to the pool today after I arrive from work. We went to the pool today but we were there for only a few minutes because there was a storm coming. After we heard the thunder, people started leaving the pool so hubby and I also went home also. Our apartment has 2 pools and this is the big one. I like the smaller one better but this one is close to our apartment. I'm looking forward to go swimming again. :)

Life is full of Gratitude

Thanks for those who tagged me this. I can't trace anymore who they are but I'm sure you know who you are.

Life is indeed full of gratitude. Here's what I'm grateful for.

God: For the graces and blessing that He gave me and for giving me the chance to experience life on earth.

Parents: For bringing me into this world. To my step-father who were there to support me when I need it.

Older sister: She thinks for my safety before her. For the good laugh and good times I spent with her.

Cousin and best friend in US: For being there when I need help. She cheers me up when I was down and help me to be strong when I was so weak. She's sort of my second mom coz she treats me like her own child and at the same time a best friend. She molds me into a better person.

Cousin in Pinas: She taught me how to be independent. She woke me up to see the reality in life about money that no one can save you but you.

Siblings: For the good times.

Husband: For the unconditional love, respect, care, and support that he showed me. For spoiling me sometimes and appreciating the things I did.

Best friend in Dubai: For always there and ready to listen when I need someone to talk to. For understanding and supporting me in all that I do.

My ladies night group friends: For their time and patience when I was new here. They didn't stop inviting me to be part in the group even if I'm just the listener. haha I had fun every time we have a ladies night out. Looking forward for the next one. Naks! -_^

Compare ISP Providers

It’s been a while that hubby and I planned to have a wireless internet connection. It wasn’t really our priority at first because we both are satisfied of what we got now but lately it seems that our internet connection is running slow and not working right. So I was thinking of changing a new ISP provider which needs a lot of time to do some research on the internet. Then I found the website getisp.info which is a good website if you want to compare a low cost ISP providers, internet service, DSL, Dial up, Cable Internet, wireless and satellite. This website has a guide on how to choose an internet service provider that answers my questions. This website helped me to do less work for researching about good ISP providers. They have an article on how to choose a cable internet service and compare cable internet service providers. This website is a good source of information for you to guide about ISP Providers if you want to get one and don’t know which one works best for you and your family. They have an article also about the wireless internet service provider which maybe you plan to get in the future. If you want to subscribe to a broadband ISP that offers high speed access for rural locations, then check this website and you’ll be happy you did.

Reflexology

Maybe some of you are not familiar with this but I tried this in the past and I now miss it.

Reflexology is the physical act of applying pressure to the feet and hand with specific thumb, finger and hand techniques without the use of oil or lotion. it is based on a system of zones and reflex areas that reflect an image of the body on the feet and hands with a premise that such work effects a physical change to the body.

Pressure is applied to the feet and hands using specific thumb, finger and hand techniques. Stretch and movement techniques are utilized as "desserts" to provide relaxation to the foot. Oil, cream and lotion is not utilized in traditional reflexology work. Tools or instruments are used for self help application only due to safety concerns.

While I was in the Philippines, I had a weekly appointment with a reflexologist. They said it is good for my health so I tried it. The result was good and I liked it. I don't know if you tried it already or not but for me it feels good.

Shopping at the Right Price

I was thinking of shopping a laptop online just in case I need to buy one in the future. There are lots of stores that you can shop and compare prices but there is only one store that helps tech-savvy shoppers to find the right product at the right price. This online store is no other than Dealtime.co.uk. You can search digital cameras, washing machines, LCD TV’s, iPods, laptops, notebooks and a lot more. And if you’re not a tech-savvy but want to shop the right product at the right price then you can also search clothing, toys, music, flowers, mobiles, books and a lot more. You can actually shop anything on this online store and read product reviews as your guide also. Whether you want something for yourself or for your loved ones, this online store is a great place to shop and save.

Lucky Me! Opps!

I didn't mean the Lucky Me pancit canton that we love to eat. hehe What I mean is the opps that I got lately. This afternoon after I arrived home from work, I turned on my laptop and excited to see if I have some opps. I had 1 offer but I didn't grab it because the advertiser asked for a bigger number of words and the amount is not enough. Now I start being picky. hehe Anyways, I waited for a good offer which I grabbed right away when I saw that I only have to make 100 words. Then I grabbed another offer that needs a minimum words of 200 which I end up making more than 300 words. haha Not bad coz I enjoyed making it. Then Last night I was able to grab 3 opps. It was my luckiest day yesterday! I am so lucky to get 3 offers with a good amount and less words needed. Woohoo! Now I'm loving it! la la la la Come and sing with me a happy tune! haha

Lovely Wedding Invitations and Wedding Stationery

A wedding invitation is just part of the wedding preparation but plays an important role for the event. Without it, friends and relatives might forget the time and date. Aside from that, the guests who are not familiar with the place will be lost if they don’t get a copy of where to go. I like to receive a wedding invitation and I appreciate how couples choose the design of their invitation card. But I am curious of where they order the invitation card. At last I found and know a website that offers a unique wedding invitations and wedding stationery. This is good news for my best friend who plans to tie the knot next year. The website tgkdesigns.com offers a unique wedding invitations and wedding stationery. I love their designs and the stationery they have. It is so lovely! You will easily fall in love of what they got. They have exclusive, unique and custom wedding invitations and wedding stationery that you can choose. The 3 main lines of wedding invitations and stationery that they have are the Signature Collection which is their most popular and tried-and-true designs, the Couture Collection which is their highest-quality and high-fashion designs and the new one is the Do It Yourself invitations. For the Do It Yourself invitations they are selling materials like the invitation pockets, directly to the public and they are adding more unto this line so now this is still growing. This website is also offering Save the Date Cards, Wedding Programs, Menus, Place cards, and more. The online customization and ordering has a “save for later” functionality. You can shop by theme in the Invitation Ideas Photo Galleries so you can see how it looks. And most of all, everything in their product can be customize according to your taste. So whatever design that you come up with, it's always unique.

An unexpected phone calls

When I was ready to work on the offer that I grabbed this afternoon, I received a call from a friend. She just asked me if I have nothing to do this Friday night coz she's planning to have a dinner at the restaurant that I and my friends haven't been to. Hopefully, if my friends are free to go this Friday then we can try this new restaurant. After a few minutes, my cell phone was ringing. A person close to me who also lives here was the one calling me. She has a problem which she thought I can help. I normally just listen to her problems but this time listening to her won't help. I need to do something and that something is big. I never imagined to solve a problem like this big but this person helped me a lot when I need help in the past. I know and I'm pretty sure that she won't turn her back on me if I need her help too. I talked to hubby right away who's still working because even though it's not my own problem but it bothers me and I want him to know so he can help me solve it. Hubby is a good listener and has good ideas in solving problems. He always makes me calm down and helps me understand the advantage and disadvantages of the possible choices that I'm going to make or choose. Thank God, problem solved with hubby's help. Now I can sleep tight. :)

This is what I feel when we solved the problem. It feels really good! :)

Egg roll? or Lumpia Shanghai?

I love egg roll and lumpia shanghai. I haven't tried making one yet so I am experimenting of making it which turns out okay. I was in a hurry in making them coz hubby will soon arrive from work and dinner should be ready when he's here. Though I had a recipe at the back of the wrapper box but I just imagined of what's inside of it coz I don't have time anymore to glance and follow the recipe. I know that I didn't fold it right because it's not tight. I made a few big ones coz I want to finish wrapping right away. haha Too lazy to wrap it. Anyway, here are the photos of the result.

This is my first try. It was okay but not great. :)

And this is the second try. It turns out great and yummy! :)

When it's safe to type the SSN on the net?

This is a question for those who want to do paid blogging but afraid of the identity theft. We already heard about scam on the net and others who didn't know of which site is safe and not safe to give their personal information were ripped off after a few minutes of typing their personal information on the net.

The answer is:

Make sure that the url address starts with https: and not http: The safe url address has the letter s. It's as simple as that. Yes, it's only one small letter but it's very important. Scammers are waiting around the corner for you to make just one mistake to steal your identity or get your money. So if you're not careful, you'll end up nothing.

About PayPal Scammers:
Scammers made their own PayPal website that looks the same as the original PayPal website. They normally email you and ask personal information that they can use in the future. Then they provide you with a link which is their website that looks like a real PayPal website. Don't ever click that link! If you want to check your PayPal account and see if there's something wrong with it then type the word paypal.com yourself. As soon as you hit enter, you can see that the url address changed into https://www.paypal.com/. Now you see the https: which tells you that it is safe. If you are familiar with online banking then you'll notice also that the url address starts with https: when you log in. Therefore always check the url address before you give your personal information.

Paid blogging:
This also applies to the paid blogging thing. I don't know if others notice it but aside from smorty and ppp, there are other websites where you can apply to earn while you blog. Sounds familiar? Honestly, I applied to some of them but I didn't continue working with them. Why? Because they want me to type my SSN for future payment but their website is not secure. Though there are other websites that ask your PayPal email address only (which is okay if you're living outside USA), but I don't want to deal with the problems in the future when it's time to pay for taxes. That's a lot of headache.

To avoid being scammed, check the url address first before you type your SSN. Protect yourself and enjoy blogging. -_^

Black out at work

Geeshh It's my first time to have a break and suddenly there was a black out. I was eating in the dark side of the hole. haha Joke! But honestly, it was really dark at the basement where I normally eat my lunch during my break. This time I hurriedly went up looking for the light. Drink Milk Everyday

That's what my Aunt told me. She said "Michelle, you have to drink milk everyday to protect your bones". I am not that old yet but I can feel some pains in my spinal cord. I sometimes massage it myself and noticed that it's kind of swollen. So I thought that I need to drink milk because according to Dr. OZ also at the Oprah show that milk can also help us put to sleep. Hmm That sounds interesting! Though I know and heard of it many times but I don't like to drink milk because of the taste. I like to drink soda than water and no milk or juice whatsoever. haha After hearing the good points again why we should drink milk everyday, I started buying milk for me and not for cooking. hehe I forced myself to drink the milk before I go to bed and if I still have time in the morning, I drink a little too before going to work. After a while, I learn to like it. There was one time that I was at work and thirsty. My co-worker asked me if I want to get some drinks but I said "NO" because my taste buds was looking for my milk. As soon as I arrived home, I grabbed my milk in the fridge and drink one glass until my taste buds are satisfied. Man, that taste sooo good! I now appreciate the taste of it! I noticed that when I drink milk before going to bed, I can sleep well and had lots of dreams. My body pain becomes lesser unlike before. Now milk made me feel good. :)

Balikbayan Box Stress

I thought sending a balikbayan box to Philippines is easy. You just buy something that you want to put inside the box and that's it. But the truth is it's not that easy. Of course you don't want to shop in just one day to fill the box up coz if you do then you'll be "bankrupt" as what another Pinay said when we went to Victoria's Secret store at the mall to buy something for our balikbayan box. One thing that I noticed also is I can't sleep well of thinking what else to put inside so I can send the box already. Of course I get tired of looking at the box in the living room waiting to be picked up and not full yet. Sending a balikbayan box is not cheap so I want to make sure that I use all the space inside. A friend of mine told me not to close the box yet coz I might want to put some more in there so the box stay open until it's time for pick up. Oh boy, the balikbayan box gave me stress in my pocket plus not getting enough sleep. After the pick up, hubby and I were happy that we can see the space in the living room again. (morag naibtan ug tunok) haha We sent one last week and there's one more to go. I really didn't plan to send two boxes this year coz I don't want to shop anymore for sending. But something happened. The first box is a little expensive but after I got the first box, a friend of mine said that there's another Pinay who sell boxes for a cheaper price plus there's a small box free. I took advantage of the promo coz I want to separate the stuff for business and for my family so the two boxes are more practical for sending. Now the first box is giving me a headache. I keep on thinking of what to send but I don't want to shop anymore. Hubby suggests of telling the truth that I had a good deal with someone else. I don't want the other Pinay to feel bad that there's somebody selling boxes cheaper than her so now I have to suffer. hehe Oh well, I just hope I can send this one soon.

Whose Number is That?

Do you have unknown or unwanted callers that gets on your nerves? There were times that I receive calls from scammers and telemarketers which are very annoying. The solution is the "No Call List Information." You won’t spend a dime and the process will only take a few moments. The Federal Government allows the subscribers of cell phones and land lines to block unwanted calls from telemarketers. All you have to do is register your phone numbers. It is secure and there are no fees involved. But if you want more assistance, a Reverse Cell Phone Lookups is good for you. Visit Who’s Number is That.com if you want to know the name, address and cell phone provider of the unknown caller that annoys you.

A Doughnut Joke

It was sort of a joke in the past when I was in the Philippines because of how we speak and pronounce English. There was one Filipina individual who wasn't able to go to school. They had a white guy visitor from the USA, so the Filipina individual tried her best to speak English to the American white guy. This lady had previously bought some doughtnuts in town and she offered some to the white guy while saying "Do not eat!" The American guy didn't understand what she meant because she was handing the doughnut to him while at the same time telling him not to eat it. But what the lady meant by "do not eat" is "doughnut eat." Anyways, this is my first time of eating doughnut here in US as what I remember. hehe I am not a doughnut eater but I eat doughnut while I was in the Philippines. I ate the pink one which I thought would be strawberry flavor but in fact was just sugar coated and shredded coconut. It was too sweet and rich for me so maybe I won't eat this again for a couple of months.

Taste good but smells bad

We Filipinos love to eat the dried fish and dried squid though it has a stinky smell on it. I am one of them and my dinner for tonight were the dried fish and fried fish. The dried fish are already cooked so all I need to do is heat them in the microwave. When it's time for dinner, I asked hubby if he smell something and he suddenly said "It smells like the dumpster!" hahaha I had a good laugh when he said that. Yeah, it smells like the dumpster but it taste good! Yummy! I enjoyed my dumpster smelly fish tonight and will eat it again when I crave for it next time. haha Here's the picture of my stinky fish. -_^

The Stark Museum in Orange Texas

Orange Texas has an additional great thing to offer to any visitors, tourists or even to the locals. Stark Museum of Art is one of them which maybe you are not familiar with or maybe you heard about it but you haven’t been visited this museum yet. Well, this museum has one of the nation’s most significant collections of American Western art. It has one of the finest collections of 19th and 20th century Western American art and artifacts in the country. And it carries the artistic interpretation of the western region over two centuries. A few explorer-artists traveled across the continent in the early nineteenth century. They recorded and documented the American Indians in portraits and scenes of their customs according to their perspectives. The following decade, two artists brought their painting skills to depict the grandeur of the Western landscape. At the turn of the last century, others created enduring iconic images of the Wild West in their paintings and sculptures portraying cowboy life and Indian imagery. Other artists have brought new interpretations to the concept of the West. The Decorative Arts collection features primarily glass and porcelain. There are items from Steuben Glass, including the only complete set of The United States in Crystal, a series of bowls engraved with scenes representing each of the 50 states as well as Puerto Rico and the Union. There are 76 engraved plates and also numerous bowls, flasks, and plaques. What I would like to see are the porcelain birds by artist Dorothy Doughty which is another highlight in the Decorative Arts collection. This museum holds the entire series as well as some duplicates, including unpainted versions. They have an American Indian collection too which consists of objects created by the tribes of the Great Plains, Southwest, Eastern Woodlands and Northwest Coast. It includes excellent examples of Plains clothing, body ornaments, and beadwork, such as elaborately beaded moccasins. It exhibits baskets from major basket-producing cultures in the West: Pueblo pottery, blackware, kachina dolls, and an outstanding collection of Navajo rugs and blankets. They have the Rare Books and Manuscripts collection like The Birds of America. There are letters and journals, seven Books of Hours manuscripts, and more rare treasures that are worth looking for. Come and visit this museum, you'll be amazed of what's in there.

Emergency! Real? or Not?

Hubby and I just finish eating our dessert for tonight when we heard the sound of the fire truck getting closer. Hubby saw the lights of the fire truck at the other window so he went there to see if it's our neighbor across the street having health problems again. When hubby opened our kitchen door, I saw the lights of the fire truck park at the parking lot where our cars parked. Hmm I wonder what's going on in the neighborhood so I went outside and look of where the rescue team would go. Our neighbors were sort of surprise of what happen so we all waited of what's going to happen next. The guys at the rescue team were looking for something which I don't know what it is. I don't remember of who live in that apartment but after a few minutes, the guys found what they are looking for. A few minutes later, the ambulance arrived and brought a stretcher to that particular apartment. It took maybe only 5 minutes for them to stay there then they bring the stretcher back to the ambulance with just a bag on it. The rescue team left not bringing any patient then I saw the old woman standing next to the door. I don't know what's going on there coz the old woman looks okay. I think that’s a good news. :)

My Dream Cell Phone

I’ve been using my LG LX350 cell phone since I arrived here in US in the year 2006. Though it works okay, I am now eyeing on a new one. What I like about my phone is it has an internet connection which allows me to surf, chat and check the weather while I’m on the go. But the problem is the screen. It is too small and I can’t see the whole page of my email when I checked it and difficult for me to work on my blog when I’m travelling because I can only see parts of it and not the whole page. I like the Samsung Sprint Instinct phone because it has a big screen and has a lot of features that I was looking for. I know, this one is expensive but I can get it for free. Yes, I found a website where I can get this one free and free of shipping. Problem solved and wish granted! A smart way of getting a new cell phone is by visiting the bestincellphones.com blog where you can read about the good stuff when it comes to free cell phones or whatever cell phones you have in mind. There are free phone offers and cell phones on sale which I’m sure you’ll be glad you read this. They offer family phone plans so you and your family can save more and live better.

Oh my God! Tornado warning again!

It was nice outside when I went out to work but before 12:00 noon, my co-worker's daughter called her and said that they'll go home at 11:45 AM because there's a severe storm coming. At noon, the sky becomes darker and later on a co-worker of mine said that she heard the siren which means we are already in a tornado warning. Oh my gosh, my mind was playing of what's gonna happen then something popped up in my mind. I remember hubby telling that the previous tornado warning we had here, they went to a hallway for an hour just like what schools do to their students. Then my what if's popped up in my mind too. What if the tornado will hit where my hubby is? Then what I'm gonna do? I'm not ready to face that kind of tragedy yet but what if it happens? When I arrive home, I was doing some more packing for the package that I'm going to send to the Philippines and after that I did some arranging in the closet. I put my winter clothes in the box and replace the closet with the summer clothes for summer. Then I cook dinner after I saw the clock that hubby might be home soon but then the tornado warning popped in my mind again. I was waiting for hubby's call because he always call me before he drives back home. It's almost 7:00 pm already and he didn't call yet which made me worry if there's something wrong happen to him. I was looking for my cell phone to call hubby of where he is but then my phone is not at the dining table where I normally put it. I went to the computer room and found it. Thank God, I received a voicemail from hubby when I open the phone to call him. I was really scared that I almost cry. My hands were shaking and I've been dropping things while cooking coz my mind is thinking of something bad. Silly me. :) But what if? haha

The Coolest Newest Video Advertisement

Yes, the coolest and newest video advertisement is now here and there’s only one website that can do that. It’s Jokeroo.com! This first ever fade-out advertisement was launched for the upcoming movie Speed Racer by Warner Bros. It’s so cool so you better see it yourself! Watch the Video Fade-Out Example now and see how cool this new ad format is.

Press Release:

TORONTO, Ontario--(BUSINESS WIRE)----Jokeroo.com, http://www.jokeroo.com, one of the pioneers in internet video and entertainment, has premiered the video fade-out advertisement with the upcoming movie, Speed Racer. The new format was designed to attract marketers across the globe with an advertisement that's high impact and engaging, while avoiding any negative impact on the user.

Although the campaign is still in its infancy, it has produced spectacular results posting a click-through north of 4 percent, which is much higher than eMarketer's quoted preroll standard of 0.5 to 0.9 percent. "When coming up with the idea we were looking for something that offered great performance for the advertiser while keeping the user happy," says Aleks Dugonjic, the President of Jokeroo.com.

The creative takes up the full screen outside of the video player environment, which avoids interrupting the user experience but allows the advertiser's brand to go unnoticed. The fade-out can last up to thirty seconds until it slowly starts fading out and the Jokeroo.com webpage appears. A live example can be found here: http://www.jokeroo.com/funnyvideos/transformers_stop_motion.html

About Jokeroo.com

Jokeroo.com is one of the leading video entertainment websites on the market today, ranked in the top 50 by comScore in multimedia and 2nd in humor. The company currently hosts over 6 million unique visitors, 150,000+ community members, and has over 1 million active email subscriptions.
